The organization which was born 44 years ago with its first manufacturing unit at Howrah in West Bengal has been identified ever since by the leading Govt./Semi Govt. users, major Fleet owners & Transport Contractors of the country as their trustworthy and reliable source of quality bodies to meet the varying needs of commercial vehicle bodies.

We had a big order of precision Paint skids and dip skids with near 0 tolerance for paint shop of M/s. TATA Motors Ltd., for NANO Project at Singur from M/s. DURR India Pvt. Ltd. who are globally well known as paint shop installation specialist for having 21 branches all over the world and having already worked in India for Hyundai, TATA Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra and others.

Unfortunately for us owing to strong resistance from a Political Party that activity stands suspended as of now. This particular job was a challenge as we have had to make the components with near 0 tolerances with Heat Treatment having been subjected to critical German quality before approval.

Apart from the above we have vast experience of fabricating mobile skid vehicle mounted container similar to freight container for uses in remote project sites for office, canteen, dining, toilet and bunk type living quarters with arrangement for installation of air conditioning units duly insulated for quality air conditioning.

MI is today fully aware and conscious about the customer need and demand thereof. The operational economy in every respect being the prime criteria and consideration.

MI has made it possible with the adoption of a few effective measures in the entire manufacturing process and activity with due stress and emphasis on certain key areas such as:

• All steel materials namely Plates, Sheets & Steel Sections are procured from either SAIL or TISCO or their authorized distributors. Paints of ICI/ASIAN/BERGER/NEROLAC make are chosen for use – this ensures a better aesthetics and life of the end products.
• All steel materials are chemically treated (Phosphatisation) for increased life and strength of the components under use.
• Pressed profile channel and angles are used to add to the strength of the products.
• Welding process-MIG welding process is adopted to ensure better and effective bondage between metals, any blow-hole etc. is also avoided. Only L&T and ADVANI make electrodes are used.
• Installation of HYDRAULICS – The performance of a Tipper much depends on the alignment of the HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS while mounting them on the Chassis frame. MI backed with their experience & proficiency gained over the time in this specific discipline has been consistently meeting such requirements while building Tipper/Dumper Bodies.
• The painting process is quite exclusive & unique to ensure a higher durability and reliability of the end products.
